About the role

The Key Account Manager is responsible for driving national omnichannel accounts with full accountability for the financial performance, delivering sales and profit targets, as well as growing market share. As part of an integrated omnichannel approach, the role will be responsible for pharmacy and mass market. The role split between the channels will be subject to the evolving market dynamics and strategic prioritization.

You will work closely with the Sales Force Lead and their team to develop and execute strong customer business plans, maximizing Haleon's equity, value, and presence in the marketplace. The role sits within the Norwegian commercial organization and reports into Country Manager Norway.

Key responsibilities

  1. Executing key commercial initiatives across the sales channels.
  2. Flawless execution and implementation of all commercial strategies and core commercial cycle processes with a strong external focus.
  3. Delivering sales and profit target and market share growth ahead of competition.
  4. Gross to Net improvements: Implementation of price increases, ROI optimization, discounts, joint marketing, category plans, price and assortment.
  5. Driving customer negotiations and optimizing investment for brand strategy; Implementation of campaign activity plans to ensure growth.
  6. Monitoring and evaluation of customer development, market conditions and competitive activities (Consumption data, POS data, internal financial reports).
  7. Ability to understand customer and channel requirements and match these to Haleon strategy.
  8. Secure implementation of brand plans, category management plans, communication plan and new product launches.
  9. HCP activation, tender & account management and external engagement.
  10. Attend HCP events - as relevant.
  11. Execute digital commerce strategy, as applicable, in collaboration with Nordic ComEx team.
  12. Responsible for initiating and following-up on product information process for respective customers.
  13. Constantly improve our ways of working for an industry-leading position.

Qualifications and skills

  1. Demonstrated experience in sales/key account management, with strong track record.
  2. Experience working with the pharmacy channel.
  3. Demonstrated commercial and growth mindset.
  4. Strong with numbers and proactive in finding new ways of engaging and growing with customers.
  5. Business-minded, fully leveraging consumption and sales data.
  6. Excellent capabilities in presentation, storytelling and effective communication.
  7. Fluency in Norwegian and English.

Preferred

  1. University Degree (Bachelor or Master) in Economics, Marketing or Business Management.
  2. Experience in working with Rx business and HCPs.
