Perform the assigned engineering within his/her discipline in project(s) and ensure engineering are delivered on time, on budget, with required quality and within agreed specifications and requirements.
Assigned Engineering tasks could be for Project Execution, support to tender, R&D, discipline and/or tasks related to standardization or organizational support.
The project engineer might also be assigned tasks as key user for user tools, component responsibility, etc.

Responsibilities
  1. The Project Engineer is responsible for the engineering performed within his/her discipline.
  2. Have first hand knowledge on technical scope of work and have oversight of the cost estimates from tender phase, for delivery of the best technical solution for the project.
  3. Using company PLM system tool (TeamCenter) according to internal guidelines.
  4. Follow company internal standards, relevant contract specific standards, Master Document Register, Change Management system and other key elements of the project model within the frame of the contract.
  5. Collaborate within and across the Engineering teams and disciplines.
  6. Contribute to information sharing between the project and other projects, both during the engineering, production and installation phase (E.g. Lessons Learned).
  7. Support and contribute to improvements / changes within the organization.
  8. Support system and competence development as well as training within the Business group including all units.
  9. Be a QHSE role model & report cases/incidents in Synergi Life tool.
  10. Support the tender group with special focus on technical requirements/solutions, MDR proposal, IDC and risk evaluation.
  11. As built documentation.
  12. Contribute and give input on lessons learned to the Project throughout and after project is finished.
  13. Facilitate DIC/IDC.
  14. Take ownership of tasks and give guidance and clear feedback to own Lead/discipline.
  15. Be open and share relevant information within the project team.
  16. Support and motivate the team members.
  17. Be a good role model.
  18. Collaborate with manufacturing plants and operational units.
  19. Engage with management/project representatives from the Client and Stakeholders as required.
  20. Work with operational and supporting departments in the business group (TAS, MED, R&D, Discipline, Tender, Internal and external laboratories, GRID etc).
  21. Coordinate with other company units dependent on projects.
Expected results
  1. Make sure that the professional level of services is aligned with project and contract needs and requirements.
  2. Effective use and disposition of time shared between assigned tasks and/or projects.
  3. Contribute to improve processes and motivate team members.
  4. The project execution is in accordance with company best practices.
  5. Contribution to company technology up to date with industry practice and rules.
