Enter the Game Are you an inspiring, people-oriented team player who gets others excited and motivated? We are now looking for 2 energetic, positive Team Leaders to join Activate Kokstad in Bergen. As one of the founding leaders of the venue, you'll play an important role in building the team, shaping daily operations, and helping establish the foundations for future growth.

What the job includes:

• Ensure smooth daily operations and strong team performance

• Coach, support and motivate team members to succeed in a positive environment

• Maintain excellent guest experience and high service quality

• Solve challenges and complaints with a smile, and escalated issues when needed

• Manage daily routines, including online booking systems, reporting, group reservations, and basic maintenance and cleanliness to ensure operational standards

• Act as a key link between management and the team

• Identify opportunities and take ownership to improve operations, efficiency, and guest experience

In addition to daily leadership responsibilities, each Team Leader will take ownership of a specific operational focus area based on their skills, experience, and interests.

Examples of focus areas include:

Sales & Events

• Drive group sales, corporate bookings and birthday parties

• Coordinate events and seasonal campaigns

• Lead customer communication practices via phone and email

• Ensure a smooth and memorable guest experience from inquiry to event

People & Culture

• Lead recruitment, scheduling, onboarding and team communications

• Monitor guest feedback and identify improvement opportunities

• Help build a positive, high-performance team culture

• Analyze operational challenges and implement improvements to support performance

Operations & Inventory

• Oversee inventory, merchandise and facility upkeep

• Ensure rooms, equipment and materials are operational and guest-ready

• Manage stock levels, deliveries and operational supplies

Who we’re looking for:

• A positive and energetic people person who enjoys customer-facing work

• A natural leader who enjoys coaching and motivating others

• Someone who takes ownership and wants to develop people and operations

• A calm problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable with hands-on operational work

• Experience in customer service and preferably some leadership experience

• Fluent in English and preferably Norwegian

• Available to work evenings and weekends

• Development-minded and interested in growing into leadership roles with broader responsibilities over time

Practical details

• Full-time position (37.5 hours/week)

• Shifts may include daytime, evening, weekend, and public holiday work as a regular part of your working hours

• Applications are processed on a rolling basis

• Start date by agreement, ideally on 1st of December

• Salary based on agreement and experience, and aligned with a junior leadership position
