The ideal candidate will deeply understand infrastructure as code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native operations, focusing on enabling product teams to develop, test, deploy, and operate their services efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
Platform Maintenance & Optimization:

  • Sound understanding of networking and network architecture.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

  • Develop, maintain, and improve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using Terraform, CDKTF, and similar tools.
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure their infrastructure needs are met, providing IaC templates and guidance to facilitate their development processes.
  • Ensure all infrastructure changes are versioned, peer-reviewed, and deployed consistently across environments.

CI/CD Pipeline Management:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable automated testing, integration, and deployment of services across multiple environments.
  • Collaborate with product teams to optimize their CI/CD pipelines for speed, reliability, and security.
  • Implement best build, release, and deployment practices, including rollback strategies and zero-downtime deployments.

Collaboration & Support:

  • Work closely with product teams to understand their needs, providing guidance and support in deploying and operating their services on the platform.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for platform-related issues, working to resolve them promptly.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and create documentation to empower product teams to use the platform tools and services effectively.

Security & Compliance:

  • Ensure all platform infrastructure and operations adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Implement security controls and monitoring to protect against vulnerabilities and threats, including automated compliance checks.
  • Collaborate with the security team to conduct regular audits and implement recommendations to improve the platform security.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps, cloud computing, and platform engineering.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve existing tools, processes, and practices to enhance platform efficiency and team productivity.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the platform by suggesting and implementing innovative solutions.

Skills & Requirements
