What You Will Really Be Doing

Owning the financial reporting cycle through managing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including reconciliations.

Ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and staying on top of new accounting standards.

Managing statutory audits, working with external auditors, and enhancing internal financial processes.

Overseeing Group reporting by managing quarterly reporting to Aker ASA and ensuring proper filing of consolidated and statutory financial statements.

Developing and maintaining processes for tracking and reporting ESG metrics.

Driving efficiency & process improvements by standardizing accounting processes, optimizing ERP usage, and ensuring financial operations scale as the company grows.

How You Will Be Doing This

• Acting as a key finance partner across departments, ensuring financial processes align with business goals.
• Streamlining financial workflows and improving internal controls.
• Advising on complex accounting issues, ensuring compliance, and resolving financial reporting challenges.
• Leveraging technology & automation to improve financial efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Legal and Operations teams to optimize financial strategies.

The Team

You'll be joining a small team and become a key member in ensuring our success and shaping the financial future of Aize. As Aize scales we expect the team to grow, offering opportunities to expand your responsibilities and become a mentor for new team members.

You'll work closely with other departments, senior management and external auditors.

Who We Think You Are

• Someone with a few years of experience in audit and hold certifications such as CPA, CA or MRR.
• You have a strong foundation in financial reporting and are familiar with Group accounting and consolidation principles.
• Proactive and enjoy solving problems - anticipating challenges before they appear and finding solutions.
• Driven and hands-on, taking ownership of your work and always looking for ways to improve processes and drive efficiency.
• A great communicator. You can explain complex financial concepts clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders, making sure everyone is aligned.
• A compassionate team player that's ready to guide and coach junior team members, helping them grow while also improving processes and setting high standards for the team.
