We are looking for a skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to enhance our team in Oslo. The focus for this role will be to manage and optimize 3DEXPERIENCE PLM environments for our customers. You will play a critical role in planning, deploying, and maintaining IT infrastructure solutions, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient operations that support both internal teams and external clients. This role requires a deep understanding of server management, database administration, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure. For this position, we can only accept candidates with Norwegian citizenship.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Set up, configure, and maintain 3DEXPERIENCE PLM environments, ensuring high performance, availability, and security according to best practices.
  2. Perform database administration for Oracle and MSSQL servers, including installation, tuning, backup, and recovery.
  3. Administer and optimize Java J2EE application servers and manage server environments.
  4. Implement and manage server consolidation strategies using public cloud, on-premise, and hybrid virtualization solutions.
  5. Utilize scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) for automation, task management, and optimizing performance across the PLM environments.
  6. Provide technical support and coaching to internal teams and external customers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and infrastructure solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Strong experience with database administration in Oracle and MSSQL Server.
  2. Advanced knowledge in web application server administration (Apache Tomcat, NGINX).
  3. Proficiency in server administration for Windows and Linux environments.
  4. Solid understanding of server consolidation and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, ESXi, Virtualbox).
  5. Familiarity with Cloud Platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Meriting Skills:
  1. Knowledge of 3DEXPERIENCE, MatrixOne PDM.
  2. Experience with Elastic Stack (ELK) and System monitoring tools.
  3. Familiarity with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).
  4. Previous experience in a global enterprise infrastructure role.

In addition to the required skills above, you have a passion for global enterprise systems and enjoy taking the lead on a variety of projects. You have great networking skills and enjoy building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
