We are looking for a skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to enhance our team in Oslo. The focus for this role will be to manage and optimize 3DEXPERIENCE PLM environments for our customers. You will play a critical role in planning, deploying, and maintaining IT infrastructure solutions, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient operations that support both internal teams and external clients. This role requires a deep understanding of server management, database administration, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure. For this position, we can only accept candidates with Norwegian citizenship.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up, configure, and maintain 3DEXPERIENCE PLM environments, ensuring high performance, availability, and security according to best practices.
- Perform database administration for Oracle and MSSQL servers, including installation, tuning, backup, and recovery.
- Administer and optimize Java J2EE application servers and manage server environments.
- Implement and manage server consolidation strategies using public cloud, on-premise, and hybrid virtualization solutions.
- Utilize scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) for automation, task management, and optimizing performance across the PLM environments.
- Provide technical support and coaching to internal teams and external customers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and infrastructure solutions.
- Strong experience with database administration in Oracle and MSSQL Server.
- Advanced knowledge in web application server administration (Apache Tomcat, NGINX).
- Proficiency in server administration for Windows and Linux environments.
- Solid understanding of server consolidation and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, ESXi, Virtualbox).
- Familiarity with Cloud Platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Knowledge of 3DEXPERIENCE, MatrixOne PDM.
- Experience with Elastic Stack (ELK) and System monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).
- Previous experience in a global enterprise infrastructure role.
In addition to the required skills above, you have a passion for global enterprise systems and enjoy taking the lead on a variety of projects. You have great networking skills and enjoy building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
