Physical Implementation Engineer - Place and Route / CMOS / Image Sensors

We are seeking a Physical Implementation Engineer with solid expertise in Place and Route to join a globally known tech company's Design Centre in Oslo, Norway on a permanent basis.

As a Physical Implementation Engineer, you will take ownership of the physical implementation of the digital logic in our clients' CMOS image sensors and work with industry-standard EDA tools (Encounter DI, DesignCompiler, PrimeTime, IC-Compiler, RedHawk, Calibre, StarRC) for logic synthesis, implementation, and verification.

The role offers Hybrid working (up to 30-40% home office), pays a very competitive base salary, plus bonus, and an extensive benefits package.

Please note, we cannot consider remote working from outside of Norway.

What do we look for?
  • PhD/MSc or equivalent experience in Engineering or Physics
  • Proven experience in Electronic/Semiconductor layout implementation (preferably in CMOS Image sensors)
  • Experience in working with multi-ethnical and cross-functional and remote teams
  • Solid experience in Physical Design / Implementation
  • Good P&R experience
