We are seeking a Market Access Manager: This role involves developing and implementing innovative partnership strategies, providing strategic direction, and ensuring market access for all Abbott Diabetes Care products in Norway.

  1. Develop and implement innovative partnership strategies to engage payors and key stakeholders.
  2. Provide strategic, tactical, and operational direction related to the government healthcare and payor landscape.
  3. Act as the interface with payors and key stakeholders to enhance customer understanding and operational effectiveness.
  4. Analyze and report on all aspects of the payor, key stakeholder, and wholesaler business, making strategic recommendations.
  5. Lead the Market Access function within the organization, working closely with the local sales force and Key Account Management personnel.
  6. Develop and lead the Norway payor and key stakeholder strategy, ensuring short and mid-term gains for Abbott Diabetes Care.
  7. Ensure market access for all Abbott Diabetes Care products, overcoming barriers at each stakeholder level.
  8. Identify new business opportunities and develop business plans to achieve short and mid-term gains.
  9. Provide strategic and financial evaluation of pricing strategies and develop pricing strategies for Abbott Diabetes Care products.
  10. Establish key metrics for all activities and monitor return on investment of key initiatives.

Your Profile:

  1. Preferably educated as a Lawyer, Medical Doctor, or relevant Master's degree in Life Sciences, Master of Business Administration, health administration, health economics, or similar.
  2. Experience in Market Access or related field from the life science industry, or as a doctor or lawyer with experience in the payor environment and/or healthcare system.
  3. Strong knowledge of the payor environment and healthcare system in Norway, including System of New Methods, the Norwegian Health Economics Administration, Ministry of Health and Care Services, Regional Health Authorities, and Municipalities.
  4. Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  5. Superior communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  6. Fluent in Norwegian and English.
