Project Planner

As a Project Planner at our Norwegian technology company, you will play a critical role in the successful execution of water treatment and energy projects. As an architect of project timelines, you will collaborate with all stakeholders to develop comprehensive plans to ensure project success as well as ensuring adequate project progress reporting.
We are looking for a proactive and curious individual who will be self-propelled in the quest of getting all the various pieces of the puzzle in place to prepare and maintain plans for projects.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and project control participation in Techouse project control team. Includes project work in multidiscipline teams.
- Responsible for preparing and following up progress plans through all phases of the project according to Techouse and client's requirements.
- Craft and update project plans weekly, ensuring clarity in deliverables, priorities, and timelines.
- Revise plans as required and simulate the outcome of delays or other disturbances during execution.
- Generate detailed planning reports both for internal and external use.
- Collaborate with discipline leads, project manager, and procurement to maintain the correct project schedule throughout the project.
- Support potential extra work and change control. Ensure that the project schedule is revised based on variation orders.
- Develop our portfolio of tools in this area allowing the best possible control and plans with optimized tools to deliver information to all relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in tendering work, preparing plans required for quotations and bids.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, or Business (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of 3 years of planning experience within the technical sector, preferably with backgrounds in engineering, construction, or drilling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including Power BI, Business Central, and MS Project.
- Knowledge of Safran systems is an asset in this role.
Personal Skills:
- Structured, analytical, and proactive approach to work.
- Independence and solution-focused mindset.
- Strong communication skills across all levels of an organization.
- Fluency in Norwegian and English (both spoken and written).
- Knowledge of NORSOK's coding structure is preferred.
- Experience with EPCI project phases is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Willingness to chase information from all stakeholders – proactive information collection.
