Our game development company is seeking a talented and driven Game Developer to join our team in Svalbard. As a Game Developer you will be responsible for creating and developing high-quality engaging games for various platforms. We are looking for someone with a passion for gaming and a strong understanding of programming languages such as C++, Java and Unity. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects and have a significant impact on the gaming industry.
Responsibilities
- Design develop and implement games for various platforms
- Collaborate with artists designers and other developers to create and enhance gameplay experiences
- Write efficient code using programming languages such as C++, Java and Unity
- Conduct regular testing to identify and fix any bugs or issues
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to continuously improve game development processes
- Communicate progress updates with team members and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Game Development or related field or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as C++, Java and Unity
- Experience working with game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software Maya Blender is a plus
- Passion for gaming with a strong portfolio showcasing previous game development projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines
Salary $1500month
