There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance, by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we are exploring opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. What will you be doing?

  • Follow up on Electrical Procurement Packages.
  • Co-ordinate with suppliers and review documents and drawings.
  • Provide engineering inputs to job packages.
  • As-builts of supplier drawings and red line mark-ups received from offshore.
  • Responsible for electrical system engineering for LV consumers and switchboards.
  • Responsible for electrical calculations, e.g., short circuit calculations.
  • Report to Discipline Lead and Engineering Manager all matters of importance.
  • Responsible for Quality and HSSE in own projects.
  • Ensure identification of changes and input to change requests.
  • Conduct offshore surveys - general field instrument engineering, system engineering, automation and control engineering, Fire & Gas systems engineering, layout design, cable dimensioning and calculations, field instrumentation and valves, technical procurement activities related to mechanical packages (as PRD), preparation of MTOs and requisitions, preparation of installation job-cards, input to other disciplines, coordination and cooperation with suppliers and clients.
Qualifications we think you should have:
  • MSc, BSc, Technical College, or other relevant education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience from the oil and gas industry.
  • Good knowledge of offshore EIT installations and requirements.
  • Experience in supplier coordination and follow-up.
  • Experience in as-builts of tags and drawings.
  • Good communication skills and a team player.
  • Ability to perform estimation work and plan activities.
  • Software Skills: Project specific.
  • Available for work in Norway.
  • Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English; must be communicative, extroverted, and hands-on.
