Join us in shaping the future of recycling technology We are now seeking a skilled and motivated Tech Lead to our digital team, which is responsible for building service tools for our Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs).

We have a fleet of 80,000 machines around the world, where we provide them with service tools from our development team in Norway. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing applications using cloud technologies and a passion for creating efficient and scalable solutions. Currently, we run our solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of software solutions in the service area.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Ensure code quality through code reviews and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with product managers to define requirements and scope.
  • Break down complex deliverables into manageable tasks and delegate appropriately.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with technical product managers and product managers to ensure that solutions are shipped with good quality and meet end-user requirements.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Encourage continuous learning and professional development.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the team and across teams & departments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development.
  • Experience with the technology used by the team (Java, Kotlin, GCP products, etc.).
  • Experience in software architecture and design patterns.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
