Join us in shaping the future of recycling technology We are now seeking a skilled and motivated Tech Lead to our digital team, which is responsible for building service tools for our Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs).
We have a fleet of 80,000 machines around the world, where we provide them with service tools from our development team in Norway. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing applications using cloud technologies and a passion for creating efficient and scalable solutions. Currently, we run our solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of software solutions in the service area.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers to define requirements and scope.
- Break down complex deliverables into manageable tasks and delegate appropriately.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with technical product managers and product managers to ensure that solutions are shipped with good quality and meet end-user requirements.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
- Encourage continuous learning and professional development.
- Facilitate effective communication within the team and across teams & departments.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development.
- Experience with the technology used by the team (Java, Kotlin, GCP products, etc.).
- Experience in software architecture and design patterns.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
