By investing in new technologies and the most skilled professionals, DeepOcean is well established as a market leader in the offshore energy industry. We are rapidly increasing our position in existing services providing construction, maintenance, survey and inspection services. Further, we are expanding our service offering into the Offshore Renewables segment and also joining market leading industry alliances such as the Windstaller Alliance together with Aker Solutions and Solstad.

In this growing market, we are looking to strengthen our Team and are seeking a team-oriented Project Controller/Senior Project Controller with a can-do attitude who wants to join a fun, fast-paced, and professional working environment

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establishment and communication of processes and routines required for effective control and reporting during the project lifecycle.
  • Establishment of project coding structure in accordance with DeepOcean Work Breakdown Structure and Cost Breakdown Structure.
  • Use the standard appropriate templates for financial performance and customer reporting.
  • Transfer of tender estimates to the Cost Management System/Netsuite to form the basis of future monitoring and control.
  • Preparing supporting data, documentation, and estimates for Variation Orders as required.
  • Preparing client cost reporting.
  • Client communication.
  • Production and input of actuals and monthly project variance analysis.
  • Production of audit reports and other audit information as required by internal & external audit teams.
  • Preparing experience feedback figures for Project Services and the tendering department.
  • Ad-hoc tasks as required by the Project Services Manager or the Finance Management Team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/master's degree in economics.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Tender/Project/Contract Management in the oil and gas, subsea, or other relevant industry.
  • Strong skills in Excel are desired.
  • Team player.
  • Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
  • Efficient and well-organized.
  • Commercial and contractual mindset.
