We are looking for a Project Manager to become a part of Tietoevry Banking, Financial Crime Prevention Unit (FCP). Tietoevry Banking is the leading financial services software and solution partner in the Nordics. We offer modular, pre-integrated banking as a service solutions and market-leading software for core, payments, credit, cards, financial fraud, and wealth. With our scale, expertise, and specialization, we empower financial institutions to enhance agility, efficiency, and accelerate digital transformation.

FCP delivers a holistic set of services covering Identity, Fraud Prevention, and Anti Money Laundering (AML) to prevent criminal activity in the financial industry and enable customers to comply with regulations, standards, and internal risk assessments. The unit consists of 130 employees based mainly in Norway, Sweden, Riga and is looking to expand to other European countries.

When joining Tietoevry Banking as a Project Manager:

  • You join a skilled team of 'Project Managers – FCP', collaborating closely with the project team and a team of Project Managers. Our team is a blend of seasoned professionals and emerging talents, all driven to deliver projects and roll out to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and resources.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Allocate project resources and manage budgets.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Lead, manage, and direct the project team using Hybrid/Agile & Scrum methodologies, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Manage project requirements and control changes.
  • Implement risk management and mitigation strategies for challenges.
  • Conduct project analysis and provide efficient forecasts of all project directives and timelines.
  • Provide accurate information about project status, ensuring proactive communication and cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive project information.

Who we are looking for:

  • Extensive experience in overseeing complex IT implementation and migration projects.
  • Proficient in Waterfall, Agile, and various other methodologies.
  • Strong business acumen for project planning and management.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Expertise in balancing, multitasking, and prioritization.
  • Experience within the banking sector or Fintech.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
  • Adept at managing, organizing, and prioritizing multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Results-driven and focused.
