Scrum Master / Delivery Lead

We are working in partnership with a transformation consultancy that is delivering a strategically significant programme for a major Energy & Engineering client in the Nordics. As part of this high-profile engagement, we are looking to appoint an experienced Scrum Master / Delivery Lead to help drive the delivery of complex, mission-critical digital applications central to the client's EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) operations.

This is a key leadership role requiring a seasoned delivery professional who can effectively manage agile processes across distributed teams, support the transition to an offshore delivery model, and ensure that strategic delivery goals are met on time and to a high standard.

Role Overview

As Scrum Master / Delivery Lead, you will oversee the agile delivery process across multiple product teams, manage delivery governance, and serve as the key liaison between client stakeholders and distributed (offshore) technical teams. Your work will directly support the evolution of three enterprise applications designed to streamline collaboration, planning, and execution in complex engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Agile ceremonies and promote agile best practices across multiple teams
• Coordinate and manage the transition to a unified offshore delivery model
• Act as the primary interface between client stakeholders and offshore development teams
• Manage resourcing, backlog prioritisation, and delivery timelines
• Establish and maintain governance structures and progress reporting
• Coach teams on Agile maturity and continuous improvement
• Lead risk management and mitigation strategies
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and onboarding during delivery transitions
• Support delivery of high-quality enterprise software within technical environments

Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of IT delivery experience, with 5+ years in a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead role
• Proven experience managing delivery across distributed and offshore delivery teams
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
• Strong understanding of modern enterprise web technologies including Angular, Java, .NET Core, and cloud platforms (GCP/Azure)
• Track record of successfully transitioning delivery models and implementing agile practices at scale
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Git
• Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills
• Previous experience in Energy, Oil & Gas, or EPC industries is highly desirable

Desired Skills & Experience

• Background working with engineering or technically focused delivery teams
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline implementation
• Understanding of enterprise application support and large-scale systems
• Experience guiding teams through delivery model transitions (e.g., from local to offshore)
• Familiarity with 3D visualisation tools or model viewers

Location & Working Model

• Role based in Oslo, Norway
• Hybrid working arrangement (mix of onsite and remote)
• Must be available to collaborate effectively with offshore development teams

2. 3D Construction Planning Tool – Supporting method engineering in alignment with design engineering through 3D visual interfaces
3. Project Execution Control System – Streamlining and enhancing project execution and control for complex engineering projects
