Entry Level Unity Developer - Contract Position in Svalbard
Are you a passionate game developer with a knack for creating immersive experiences? Do you have a strong foundation in Unity and are looking to jumpstart your career in the gaming industry? Our company is seeking an entry level Unity Developer for an urgent contract position in Svalbard.
As an Entry Level Unity Developer, you will work closely with our experienced team to develop and enhance game features and mechanics. You will be responsible for implementing new gameplay systems, optimizing performance, and troubleshooting technical issues. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
- Strong foundation in Unity game development
- Experience with C# programming language
- Familiarity with game design principles and best practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers and artists to implement new gameplay features
- Write clean, efficient code that adheres to project guidelines
- Optimize game performance by identifying and resolving technical issues
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedbackKeep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the gaming industry
Salary
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this contract position.
Location
This job is located in Svalbard, an archipelago situated between Norway and the North Pole. While we encourage local candidates, remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.
