Your role and responsibilities

The Procurement and Logistics unit in Norway is a part of Northern Europe HUB Procurement & Logistics unit that includes the countries of Sweden, Finland, UK, Ireland, Denmark and Norway with obligations for all Procurement and Logistics activities belonging to Northern Europe Hub. Procurement & Logistics unit play an increasingly important role in our business as purchased materials, services and equipment represent a dominant share of ABB's value chain. As such, effective and efficient supply management is crucial to the success of the business. Our focus is to obtain the highest quality and value possible through effective sourcing of goods and services. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated colleague who wants to contribute within the Procurement and Logistics Execution Team with professionalism, experience and know-how.

Through jointly cross functional collaboration/focus the Procurement & Logistics Specialist is responsible at any time to maintain Procurement processes and be an advocate for best practices within Supply Chain Management enabling goods & services to be delivered with the right quality, on time and as cost efficiently as possible.

Qualifications for the role

• Higher education within Procurement & Logistics or other relevant education
• Wide experience within Procurement and Logistics projects
• Background from EPC, project, or integrator business a plus
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Norwegian
• Experienced within tools and systems relevant for Procurement and logistics activities
