Your daily role

The Warehouse Supervisor assists in overseeing daily warehouse and cold storage operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Key responsibilities include managing shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse staff, including seasonal employees. The role involves maintaining budgets, scheduling equipment maintenance, ensuring accurate inventory records, and adhering to safety and GMP standards. Additional duties include coordinating shipments, facilitating truck scheduling, operating warehouse equipment when needed, and managing packaging supply inventory. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential to maintaining high product quality and operational efficiency.

Your profile

• Skills & Qualifications: Excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to work with inventory and production programs (MXP, Blue Bee); ability to operate a forklift and yard truck.
• Work Environment & Physical Demands: Requires standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and operating machinery in various conditions (noisy, dusty, hot/cold, wet, exposure to chemicals/solvents, and moving mechanical parts).
• Flexibility & Safety: Must be adaptable to business needs, including weekends and off-shifts; responsible for maintaining a safe, clean work environment and obtaining forklift train-the-trainer certification. Typical shift is 6 am - 4:30 pm M - TH Dec to May and 6 am - 2:30 pm M-F May to December.
• Experience & Education: Two to three years of warehouse experience required; High School Diploma or equivalent.
