Marketing and Events Specialist

We are looking for a proactive marketing person to join our team in Norway to cover a maternity leave from beginning of May 2025 to April 2026.
This position will be reporting to Group Head of Events in Euronext and EVP Public Affairs, Communication and Marketing in Nord Pool. You will be a part of the Euronext Events Team and have close collaboration with the marketing and communication team at Nord Pool.
About the role:
You will manage, implement, and coordinate our marketing activities. This includes establishing and managing the development of marketing efforts across various departments within both Nord Pool and Euronext. You will work across the business, playing a key role in a wide variety of our teams. You will be working with sales staff on events and exhibitions, product managers on pitching and positioning our products and solutions; and with regional teams on targeted local marketing activities across Europe. In this role you will also be cooperating closely and working together with departments in Euronext and especially with the Euronext Events team.
Role Requirements:
The right person will have knowledge of digital marketing, with experience in marketing and marketing communication being an advantage and event organization. Structure and efficiency in your work is important to you, as are being a team player and being comfortable handling multiple tasks at once time.
You are a doer, self-driven and flexible with good written and verbal communication skills. You are fluent in English.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure close dialogue and cooperation across functions to deliver effective marketing for Nord Pool's products and services.
- Effectively and appropriately communicate through digital channels and social media to increase our visibility.
- Support internal communication.
- Organize external and internal events, including webinars, seminars, conferences, and trade shows.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including Communication, Sales, and Product managers.
- Create professional, on-brand presentations and promotional material.
- Strengthen Nord Pool's brand, employing the full marketing suite: strategy, campaigns, implementation plans and tactics. This would include, among others: email marketing, website marketing, social media marketing and events management.
