Ski / Snowboard Instructor

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Ski and Snowboard Instructor. As a Ski and Snowboard Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction to individuals and groups of all ages and skill levels. The role requires flexibility, independent decision-making, strong customer-focused services, adaptive teaching skills, and the ability to work under the intensity of a winter season.

General duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Conducting ski and snowboard lessons according to the lesson plan and safety guidelines.
• Evaluating the abilities of students and tailoring instruction to meet their needs.
• Demonstrating proper techniques and exercises to help students improve their skiing and snowboarding skills.
• Creating a positive and supportive learning environment for students and other team members.
• Ability to work in a small team in a busy short season.
• Ensuring the safety of all participants during lessons.
• Communicating effectively with students to provide feedback and schedule new lessons.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience / Qualifications

• Minimum of level 1 qualification in an international ski/snowboard association.
• Minimum 1 season experience in teaching skiing and snowboarding
• Experience in teaching, guiding, or childcare or working in a customer service-oriented environment.
• First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

Head Ski instructor / lessons manager

Visa StatusA valid working visa for Japan is required for all applicants.

Please note that we do not provide visa sponsorship or assistance with visa applications, except for qualified ski instructors. I confirm that I am eligible to work in Japan

Availability

I am available to work between December 1 and March 31.

Flexibility

I am open to working in other roles within the company
