Entry Level Information Security Analyst
As an Entry Level Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the protection of our company's sensitive data and systems. Your main duties will include conducting risk assessments, implementing security measures, and monitoring for any potential threats or breaches. You will work closely with our IT team to identify vulnerabilities and develop solutions to mitigate them. This position is ideal for someone with a strong interest in technology and a desire to start a career in information security.
Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential security threats
- Implement security measures and protocols to protect company data and systems
- Monitor networks and systems for any suspicious activity or breaches
- Collaborate with IT team to identify vulnerabilities and develop solutions
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging threats
- Provide training and guidance to employees on security protocols
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Knowledge of network security principles, tools, and techniques
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and problem-solve
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
- Passion for learning about new technologies and staying updated on industry trends
Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Svalbard (candidate must have own visa)
Contract Type: Full-time, entry level position without accommodation provided.
