Overview

We are seeking a Quality Engineers to join our Data Centre team in Norway.

Responsibilities

Quality Management

  • Implement and maintain the project's Quality Management Plan, ensuring alignment with Sisk standards and client expectations
  • Conduct inspections and audits to verify that works comply with design, specification and procedural requirements
  • Manage quality documentation, including inspection and test plans, method statements, and records of compliance
  • Support the review and approval of subcontractor quality plans and ensure adherence to contractual obligations
  • Monitor and record non-conformances, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are identified and completed

Technical Support and Continuous Improvement

  • Provide technical support to site teams, engineers and supervisors in understanding and implementing quality procedures
  • Contribute to lessons learned reviews and promote best practice in workmanship, testing and documentation control
  • Support commissioning and handover processes, ensuring systems and deliverables meet validation and client standards
  • Assist in the development of project-specific checklists and verification procedures to ensure consistent delivery

Coordination and Reporting

  • Liaise with clients, consultants and third-party inspectors on quality-related matters
  • Prepare quality reports and summaries for inclusion in project reviews and progress updates
  • Coordinate with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams to ensure alignment on quality expectations and closeout requirements
  • Maintain open communication with subcontractors to promote collaboration and shared accountability for quality performance

Essential Experience

  • Strong understanding of quality management principles, inspection processes and relevant standards (e.g. ISO 9001)
  • Proven experience working within a quality or engineering function on large-scale construction or industrial projects
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction materials, methods and testing procedures
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and promote a culture of continuous improvement

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, data centre or advanced manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with GMP, cleanroom or regulatory quality systems
  • Knowledge of commissioning, validation and turnover documentation requirementsExperience using digital quality management tools or field inspection software

Essential Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in a quality or site-based engineering role
  • Relevant safety training (e.g. Safe Pass, CSCS or equivalent)

Desirable Qualifications

  • Professional membership or certification in Quality (e.g. CQI, IRCA or equivalent)
  • Training in internal auditing, ISO 9001, or quality system management
  • Postgraduate qualification in quality or project management
