Job Title: Maintenance Technicians DD
Halliburton's Sperry Drilling department is experiencing increasing workload and is in need of R&M Maintenance technicians. Sperry R&M workshop performs scheduled maintenance on BHA, Geo-span and motors. On a daily basis, we are tasked with short deadlines to supply operational needs and work with pride and focus to be the best in Safety and Quality.

Job Description:
Inspection, preparation, testing, and maintenance of DD tools. Within the workshops, we perform maintenance on everything from fully mechanical tools to some electronic tools. This is downhole equipment and part of the drill string; therefore, it requires high-quality cleaning, inspection, and maintenance in preparation for the next job. It is expected that the technicians keep documentation up to date and manage quality assurance as part of their daily work.
Take part in shift rotations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of related workshop experience.
- Basic knowledge of 5s and process improvements.
- Able to handle both Norwegian and English as working languages.
- Experience with downhole drilling equipment maintenance is preferable.
The candidate is expected to handle a busy work environment with frequent changes while maintaining focus on details and delivering a product of the highest quality possible. The position requires championing the Company's HSE procedures. Expectation is that you have the ability to function in a team and care for your colleagues. You should set high standards for your own work/product regarding quality and have the ability to think safety in all tasks/assignments. Candidates must be hardworking and possess good communication and cooperation skills.
