About Verdane
Verdane is a specialist growth equity investment firm that partners with sustainable, tech-enabled Northern European businesses to help them reach the next stage of international growth. With a focus on Digitalisation and Decarbonisation, Verdane manages over €8 billion in assets and has invested in over 400 fast-growing businesses since 2003.
Our team of over 150 professionals is based in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo, London, Munich, and Berlin. We are proud to have attracted high-calibre investors from over 15 countries including foundations, endowments, pension funds, insurance companies, and family offices. More than half of the capital commitments in our recent funds come from not-for-profit investors and Verdane is a certified B Corporation, the most ambitious sustainability accreditation globally.
As part of our growth journey we are now recruiting an HR Coordinator to join our team. This role can be based in either Oslo or Stockholm.
In this role you will
- Assist across teams including Talent Acquisition, HR Operations and Performance & Development, to ensure seamless collaboration and support.
- Contribute to employment branding events to enhance the company's reputation and attract top talent.
- Support the internship program by coordinating activities, providing guidance, and ensuring a positive experience for interns.
- Drive improvement projects and document processes and routines.
You have strong analytical and communication skills, a solid HR/People understanding and a motivation to work in a fast-paced environment.
We can offer you an exciting opportunity to gain a broad understanding of the working cogs of a leading private equity firm, working closely with HR/People team and the wider organization.
About you
As a person you have a growth mindset, good communication skills and a desire to work in an international environment. You collaborate well in a down-to-earth and value-based culture, that is committed to building long-lasting relationships. You have a can-do attitude and enjoy working with people, but you also enjoy solving challenges on your own. Naturally, you have a passion for business and the industry.
In addition to this, you also have:
- Minimum a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Solid experience in a broad, operative HR role.
- Project management skills: self-starter, organized, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work and build relationships with a large team.
- Knowledge of labor laws, regulations and best practices in HR management.
- Proficiency in HR software such as HRIS (Human Resource Information System) and recruitment tools.
- Fluency in English, both oral and written.
You will be a perfect fit if our corporate values resonate with you:
Get things done: We actively work to shorten decision making cycles, always completing our set tasks with quality. We prioritise what lies before us in order to ensure that everything we set out to accomplish is done well, rather than taking on too many things at once.
Dare to be different: We are bold in our thinking and challenge the status quo. We treasure differences of opinion and value complementary perspectives as we seek creative solutions to complex problems.
Love what we do: We are genuinely committed and passionately curious, entrepreneurial in spirit and deed – the best idea wins.
Respect people and the planet: We act with integrity and seek to build trust in all relations. We show responsibility and aspire to be on the right side of history, helping to move our industry towards more sustainable, long-term thinking.
Verdane is committed to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive working environment and we actively seek for qualified candidates regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, national origin, disability or age.
In this recruitment we work together with Intenco AB. If you have any questions, please contact sandra.waldnert@intenco.se. Please note that applications are assessed on an ongoing basis and we encourage candidates to apply as soon as they feel ready.
