Instrumentation Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Specialist to join our team at Techconsult AS. As an Instrumentation Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing cybersecurity measures, coordinating with suppliers, and providing engineering inputs to job packages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the implementation of robust cybersecurity measures to protect our systems and data.
• Coordinate with suppliers to review documents and drawings, ensuring compliance with our standards.
• Provide engineering inputs to job packages, ensuring that all requirements are met.
• Assemble as-builts of supplier drawings and red-line mark-ups from offshore, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Report crucial matters to the Discipline Lead and Engineering Manager, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed.
• Ensure quality and HSSE standards are maintained in assigned projects, adhering to our company's policies and procedures.
• Identify changes and contribute to change requests, ensuring that all modifications are properly documented and approved.

Requirements:

• Education from either an Associate Degree, Vocational school, or bachelor's/master's degree.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Good knowledge of offshore EIT installations and requirements.
• Experience in supplier coordination and follow-up.
• Strong communication skills and a team player.
• Able to perform estimation work and plan activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Expertise in CSNE is appreciated.
