Data Analytics Specialist

Job Purpose

The Data Analytics Specialist will play a critical role in the development of our Data Lake/Warehouse content as a single source of data for the company. This will involve developing data models and pipelines using dbt and Snowflake, as well as collaborating with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize data models and pipelines using dbt and Snowflake.
  • Write efficient and scalable SQL queries to support data analysis and reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
  • Create and maintain documentation for data models, pipelines, and processes.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with dbt and Snowflake.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
