Clinical Specialist Role: Patient Education and Support

SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this Clinical Specialist role is between $120,000 to $150,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Clinical Specialist to provide hands-off support to customers across Norway within neurology, especially Parkinson's Disease area. In this role, you will ensure that practitioners are competent to use our product safely and effectively. You will also support the commercial IFT (in field team) in their designated regions in delivering clinical support to their customers and driving use of the product within those accounts.
This role requires you to travel throughout region/country and work collaboratively with our sales team to identify customers who will benefit from more technical product support.
Key Responsibilities- In collaboration with our sales team, identify customers who will benefit from more technical product support, and work with those customers to drive confidence in the use of our product.
- Build strong relationships and advocacy with HCPs nationally and within key accounts. Be seen as a valued resource through the quality of the education and support provided.
- Ensure positive HCP experience with AbbVie products by providing ongoing clinical and educational support at all stages of the educational journey.
- Maintain up-to-date in-depth technical knowledge of specialty, disease areas, AbbVie product and competitive marketplace.
- Work with the cross-functional team to prioritize target accounts, given the wide scope of the role.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A great advantage if you are a licensed Nurse or Physiotherapist who has worked with Parkinson's disease patients.
- Desirable post-reg qualification degree/MSc/PhD. If not, LIF certification will be required.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in Norwegian and English.
- Experience working within diverse cross-functional teams and evidence of influencing and building relationships as part of this.
- Proven neurology experience in a clinical environment relevant for the therapeutic area such as Botox or Parkinson's Disease nurse.
- Practical knowledge and understanding of the local healthcare system, including policies, protocols, and political environment that may affect the work of HCPs.
- Knowledge within neurology, including product, therapeutic, competitive, and scientific knowledge.
