Vessel Operations Overview:

Job Requirements:

  • Responsible for maintaining and supervising all machinery on board, ensuring vessel safety and efficiency.
  • Supervise junior engineers and fitters to maintain high standards of maintenance and repair.
  • Ensure accurate logging of maintenance activities, temperatures, and pressures.
  • Perform weekly checks on critical systems, including lifeboats, workboat, FRC engine, and emergency diesel.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a 2nd Engineer in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
