As a Material Scientist at Vianode, you will play a crucial role in the development of high-performance synthetic anode graphite. This breakthrough material reduces the carbon footprint by up to 90% compared to traditional materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative processes for synthetic anode graphite production
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and sustainability
  • Contribute to the development of process and technology improvements through theoretical modeling
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Masters or PhD degree in materials science, chemistry or a related field
  • Experience with FEM modeling, preferably using Comsol Multiphysics and ideally with 3D, AC/DC, heat transfer and CFD calculations
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably from industry
  • Able to connect theoretical calculations, analytical methods, physical observation and process measurements to ensure model validation
  • Good knowledge of English, knowledge of Norwegian is an advantage
