Technical Workshop Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Workshop Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Stavanger workshop, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and adherence to ICR procedures.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all workshop activities, including maintenance, repair, and quality control of Quickflange, Technowrap, and other ICR products. They will also be tasked with ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining accurate records.
This role requires excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as strong technical knowledge of mechanical repair and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar environment and be familiar with logistics and stores functions within the Oil and Gas sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- To oversee the efficient operation of the workshop, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
- To coordinate with the Project Coordinator to manage inventory levels, maintain accurate records, and ensure that all necessary equipment and tools are available.
- To conduct regular risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential hazards.
- To develop and implement procedures to improve workshop efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of mechanical repair and maintenance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Familiarity with logistics and stores functions within the Oil and Gas sector.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
