As a Maintenance Technician 2 at Staples, you will be responsible for performing routine and non-routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance tasks on conveyors, electrical motors, and other industrial systems.
- Conduct general building maintenance, including repairs to overhead doors and construction work.
- Ensure safe work practices and adhere to our safety culture.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ year of related experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
