Position as Senior Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior engineer to join our department at the University of Bergen. The successful candidate will have a strong background in synthetic chemistry and experience in operating and maintaining complex laboratory equipment.

  • This position involves the establishment and operation of the national infrastructure for automated synthetic chemistry NorHTE.
  • The appointee will participate in externally funded research and innovation projects within inorganic and organometallic synthesis.
  • Maintenance of and instruction on central research infrastructure, mainly within automated synthetic chemistry, use of glove boxes and other equipment.

The working language in this position primarily is Norwegian, but proficiency in English is also required.
