About the Job

The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is seeking a highly qualified researcher to join our team in the Department of Psychology. As a researcher in environmental psychology, you will be part of an exciting inter-disciplinary Horizon Europe project focused on socio-economic policies and paradigms that complement or present alternatives to the current policy landscape and economic paradigm in Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement studies to investigate policy acceptance and perceived social, environmental, and economic policy impacts
  • Analyze and interpret data from experiments and online surveys with a plan to collect data from 10,000+ participants
  • Contribute to the writing of academic papers and other research outputs, such as technical reports
  • Present research findings at conferences and workshops
  • Support the organization of workshops and contribute to further funding acquisition
Requirements
  • PhD in social psychology, environmental psychology, behavioral economics, or a closely related discipline
  • Documented expertise in environmental psychology, social psychology, behavioral economics, or a closely related social science
  • Strong background in quantitative statistical methods
  • Good publication record
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with concepts and methods used in environmental psychology
  • Familiarity with concepts and methods used in social psychology or behavioral economics
  • Expertise in discrete choice modeling and the design of discrete choice experiments
  • Experience with analysis of large cross-national datasets
