About the JobThe Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is seeking a highly qualified researcher to join our team in the Department of Psychology. As a researcher in environmental psychology, you will be part of an exciting inter-disciplinary Horizon Europe project focused on socio-economic policies and paradigms that complement or present alternatives to the current policy landscape and economic paradigm in Europe.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement studies to investigate policy acceptance and perceived social, environmental, and economic policy impacts
- Analyze and interpret data from experiments and online surveys with a plan to collect data from 10,000+ participants
- Contribute to the writing of academic papers and other research outputs, such as technical reports
- Present research findings at conferences and workshops
- Support the organization of workshops and contribute to further funding acquisition
- PhD in social psychology, environmental psychology, behavioral economics, or a closely related discipline
- Documented expertise in environmental psychology, social psychology, behavioral economics, or a closely related social science
- Strong background in quantitative statistical methods
- Good publication record
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Familiarity with concepts and methods used in environmental psychology
- Familiarity with concepts and methods used in social psychology or behavioral economics
- Expertise in discrete choice modeling and the design of discrete choice experiments
- Experience with analysis of large cross-national datasets
- Dedication to research work
- Creativity
- Pro-activity and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in interdisciplinary research teams
