The Senior Legal Professional will be responsible for providing formal legal review and risk analysis of customer contracts. They will also advise the bid manager/KAM and other levels of management during the decision-making process. The successful candidate will ensure that contracts are aligned with our strategic earning ambitions for each customer/segment as well as our overall strategy expectations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Represent TN Norway in reviewing, amending and negotiating various contracts, forms or agreements with customers.
- Support the contracting process and contract management.
- Assess project risks and engage in the risk review process for projects.
- Provide advice on legal and commercial contract-related matters.
- Advocate and ensure compliance with DNV processes, policies, guidelines and values.
- Provide training on legal/contract management issues and risks within the functional scope of the Global Contracting team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in law or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant work experience as a legal professional or contract manager.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Norwegian; additional skills in other languages are also welcomed.
- Legal skills in a commercial/transactional context, including reviewing and drafting contracts.
- Comfortable working as part of a virtual, global and multi-cultural team.
