Job Description

The Senior Project Purchaser is responsible for managing and coordinating all purchasing-related activities respecting Nexans purchasing procedures throughout the lifetime of the projects.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and evaluate offers to be presented and discussed with the tender/project team.
  • Evaluate suppliers' performance and implement procurement strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products.
  • Develop and maintain Procurement Plans according to Nexans Standards.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a project setting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in English, oral and written; Norwegian/French/Spanish/Italian is a plus.
