About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ESG reporting professional to join our team at Equinor. As an environmental accounting specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on IFRS and ESG related contributions to capital markets reporting.

You will work closely with our ESG advisor and other functions to ensure the accuracy of sustainability information in the integrated annual report, including compliance with CSRD requirements. This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.

  • Work in the interface between ESG and financial reporting and contribute to the development of the financial information included in the integrated annual report.
  • Collaborate with the ESG advisor in the finance and control function.
  • Lead parts of sustainability relevant capital market reporting.
  • Ensure quality and completeness of required sustainability information in the annual capital market reporting.
  • Contribute to the EU taxonomy reporting.
  • Internal controls related to CSRD reporting.
  • Support evaluating and interpreting evolving regulatory frameworks and guidelines.
  • Keep abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulations and implementing necessary updates.
