Job Overview

We are seeking a Geological Expert - Biostratigraphy to join our Subsurface division. The ideal candidate will have an MSc or PhD in Industrial Biostratigraphy, with 3+ years of relevant experience working with Micropalaeontology and/or Palynology.

The successful candidate will contribute to project management and technical interpretation of biostratigraphic data for operated wells and regional studies, and take an active role in improvement projects, digitalisation initiatives and data management.

  • Facilitate biostratigraphic services and tasks at wellsite to support drilling operations.
  • Take an active part in integration with other subsurface disciplines, presenting and reporting both internally and externally (to assets, partners and NPD).

This is a highly dynamic environment with varying tasks and project opportunities across Equinor's global portfolio.
