Job Description

Fotoware is seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead to drive the technical direction of our product. As a member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical direction of the product, creating and driving the long-term technical strategy, and taking ownership of the product.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the technical direction of the product by making informed architectural decisions that balance scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Create and drive the long-term technical strategy for the product, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical best practices.
  • Take ownership of the product and lead the development team through all stages of the development cycle.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication within the department regarding project progress and status.
  • Manage cross-product dependencies, ensuring seamless coordination and follow-up.
  • Define and prioritise non-functional requirements to enhance system performance and reliability.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years experience in designing, building, and maintaining cloud-native, scalable, high-quality software.
  • Experience with architecture and system design, with experience in making informed architectural decisions that balance scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and ensuring system reliability.
  • Understanding of secure coding practices, performance optimisation, and resilience.
  • High proficiency in .Net and C# development and tooling.
  • Knowledge of technological stack: Elasticsearch, Redis, RabbitMQ (or other message bus).
  • Experience with Azure and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to build high performing and motivated teams.
