Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at INPEX Idemitsu Norge in Oslo. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to navigate diverse personalities and multicultural environments, ensuring effective collaboration and decision-making.

  • Lead and manage all legal activities, ensuring compliance with international and national laws, internal policies, and the highest ethical standards.
  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance to the management and other internal stakeholders on various legal matters and disputes.
  • Review and negotiate complex contracts, ensuring that they align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and implement compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Identify and mitigate legal risks in the company's business.

The successful candidate will have a Master of Law degree in Norway, be qualified for the Norwegian Bar, and have experience in complex contract negotiations and comprehensive understanding of international contract law.
