Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incidents and service requests from customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Provide desk-side support services, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, printers, laptops, and other computer peripherals.
  • Administer Windows O/S, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Support IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and operating system troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless support and minimize downtime.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure field support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues.
  • Proficiency in desk-side support, PC break/fix, and Windows O/S.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in Norwegian and English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of wireless networking, TCP/IP networks, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP.
