About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and goal-oriented Technical Solutions Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with customers on exciting 3D machine vision projects, primarily supporting clients within the DACH region.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure your customers successfully integrate Zivid 3D cameras and solutions through:
- Serving as the primary technical point of contact for customers in the DACH region.
- Providing technical training and support, with occasional customer visits for the most prominent customers.
- Guiding the customers during their journey from meeting Zivid technology for the first time to deploying the system in a factory.
- Advising customers on machine vision and robotics topics such as optimizing point cloud quality for defined applications, achieving the best cycle times, and improving hand-eye calibration performance.
- Directing customers on the best use of Zivid SDK and third-party software libraries.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will also work on proactive support efforts such as writing code samples, tutorials, reference articles, and other technical documentation.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Machine Vision, Computer Science, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or similar with 2+ years of experience.
- Experience in Machine Vision and Robotics with strong programming skills in C++, C#, or Python.
- Familiarity with Machine Vision software tools and libraries like OpenCV, PCL, Open3D, Halcon, and MATLAB.
- Fluent in German (oral and written), as this role will focus on the DACH region. Business-level English is also required.
