The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and coordinating the Global Trade Management program at the country level, centralizing trade tasks and managing country-specific trade policies and procedures.

About the Job

The Global Trade team is responsible for trade compliance and optimization across various countries. In this role, you will work closely with the Country Trade Compliance Manager to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations. You will also train and support Business Units on trade-related topics such as export control, customs compliance, and sensitive countries.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Implementing and coordinating the Global Trade Management program at the country level.
  2. Managing country-specific trade policies and procedures.
  3. Training and supporting Business Units on trade-related topics.
  4. Updating stakeholders on potential risks and trade issues.
  5. Consulting and escalating trade compliance questions and issues.
  6. Supporting the use and improvement of global trade tools and automation.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require a degree in trade, law, economics, logistics, or a related field. EU legal qualification or international trade background is highly valued. You should have experience in export controls, sanctions, customs compliance, and supply chain optimization. Knowledge of EU trade regulations and sanctions is also essential.

We are looking for a fluent Norwegian and English speaker, with other European languages (Swedish, Danish, Estonian, or Finnish) being an asset. SAP & SAP GTS knowledge is highly valued, as is material master and classification knowledge.
