About the Role

This challenging position involves scaling up processes from lab to manufacturing, creating process specifications, P&ID's, and equipment specifications. You will collaborate with vendors and manufacturing partners to ensure smooth production.

Responsibilities

  • Scale up polymerization and chemical processes, preferably with knowledge of high viscosity polymers and water-soluble polymers/hydrogels
  • Develop process specifications, P&ID's, and equipment specifications
  • Collaborate with vendors and manufacturing partners
  • Able to work effectively in a small to medium-sized organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Polymer/Material Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in leading pilot trials with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMO's) or equipment vendors
  • Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
