We are seeking a Senior Electronics Specialist to join our team at the Emerson Stavanger Factory in Norway. In this position, you will play a key role in the assembly and testing of various subsea and downhole products manufactured in the Electronics laboratory.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent collaboration skills, and a passion for making an impact. You will work closely with area management to ensure safe working practices and document all activities thoroughly.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring safety protocols are followed and reporting any concerns to area management
- Performing electronic assembly, soldering, laser welding, functional testing, and troubleshooting on subsea and downhole products
- Documenting all activities in defined report templates, ensuring accurate quality documentation
- Reporting product and process quality issues to area management and proposing improvements
Requirements include:
- Technical college or similar qualification as an electronic technician, with experience in lieu considered
- At least two years of professional experience, preferably in electronics
- Basic computer skills and ability to read, interpret, and follow written, visual, and verbal work instructions in English
- High focus and knowledge of Health and Safety Principles
- Ability to work with subsea or downhole electronics, embedded systems, and microcontrollers
