Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Field Engineer to join our team at Techconsult AS. As an Electrical Field Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating electrical systems, products, components, and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Read and interpret layout drawings, loop drawings, termination diagrams, P&ID, and job cards to identify electrical system requirements.
  • Develop and implement electrical system designs and solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical system integration and compatibility.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect electrical systems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and customers to ensure electrical system safety and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in electrical engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including circuit analysis and design.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid work permit within the EU, preferably in Norway.
