Main Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team at Belmont Lavan Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and implementing scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions using RedHat, Ansible, and Python.

  • Design and Implement Cloud Solutions: Develop and implement cloud-based solutions that meet the needs of our business, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Provide Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to our team in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud platform strategies, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Ensure Cloud Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain cloud security measures, manage user access and permissions, and ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
Requirements Analysis and Solution Design

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts and best practices, as well as experience designing and implementing scalable and reliable cloud solutions.

  • Gather Requirements: Gather requirements from stakeholders and collaborate with them to design cloud solutions that meet their needs.
  • Create Technical Design Documentation: Create detailed technical design documentation for cloud platform resources, ensuring that cloud solutions align with business requirements and industry best practices.
Automation and Scripting

The ideal candidate will have experience developing and maintaining automation scripts using Ansible and Python, as well as automating cloud infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes.

  • Develop Automation Scripts: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible and Python, ensuring that cloud infrastructure is provisioned and deployed efficiently and reliably.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code: Implement and optimize infrastructure as code practices, ensuring that cloud infrastructure is managed and maintained efficiently.
Cloud Security and Administration

The successful candidate will have experience implementing and maintaining cloud security measures, managing user access and permissions, and ensuring compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.

Technical Leadership

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud platform development, with experience working with RedHat, Ansible, and Python. They will also have a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts and best practices, as well as experience designing and implementing scalable and reliable cloud solutions.

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience working with RedHat, Ansible, and Python in cloud platform development.
  • Strong Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure: Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts and best practices.
  • Experience Designing Cloud Solutions: Experience designing and implementing scalable and reliable cloud solutions.
  • Knowledge of Automation and Scripting: Knowledge of automation and scripting languages, particularly Ansible and Python.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Security and Administration: Familiarity with cloud security and administration principles.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership Abilities: Leadership abilities and a willingness to mentor junior team members.
Preferred Skills

The ideal candidate will also have certifications related to RedHat, Ansible, or cloud platforms, as well as experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
