Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our team in Oslo. As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including evaluating and approving documentation, ensuring compliance, programming process control systems, and developing project documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and approve documentation from subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and legislation.
  • Program process control systems (PLC).
  • Develop project documentation such as functional descriptions and testing procedures.
  • Monitor and report progress on assigned work packages.
  • Perform on-site testing and participate in offshore commissioning.
Essential Qualifications
  • Educated in Automation, Cybernetics, or a related field, BSc or MSc.
  • 5 years of experience or more in an automation role.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with PLC-based process control systems.
  • Experience with Siemens SIMATIC PCS7 or similar control systems is essential.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding system control diagrams (SCD).
