The Concrete Structures and Geotechnics section is one of five integral parts of our Structures department, which operates within the Energy Systems business area. Our work encompasses concept evaluation, technology qualification, advisory services, verification, and certification, ensuring all structures interact effectively with soil.

What to anticipate as a Graduate in Geotechnics within the Structures department:

  • Collaborate with experienced geotechnical engineers.
  • Gain insights into various standards and learn from diverse designers.
  • Enhance your skills in soil interpretation.
  • Learn to implement innovative soil models in numerical analyses.
  • Conduct independent soil-structure interaction analyses for various applications including wind turbines, energy islands, jackets, jack-ups, cables, pipelines, subsea foundations, anchors, and coastal infrastructure.
