We are seeking a part-time 0.5 FTE Biostatistician to join our team.
Role OverviewThe Biostatistician is responsible for preparing, conducting, and completing statistical tasks in assigned Study Teams, according to company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development of Study Protocols, CRFs, and reports/manuscripts by providing statistical input.
- Write the statistical sections in the Study Protocol.
- Review the Study Protocol.
- Review the CRF to ensure that the design and structure of the CRF meet the specific statistical requirements defined in the study protocol.
- Assist in performing/reviewing sample size calculations.
- Define randomization procedures and produce randomization lists.
This role will be primarily focused on assisting in the development of Study Protocols, CRFs, and reports/manuscripts by providing statistical input. This includes writing the statistical sections in the Study Protocol, reviewing the Study Protocol, and ensuring that the design and structure of the CRF meet the specific statistical requirements defined in the study protocol.
In addition, this role will assist in performing/reviewing sample size calculations and defining randomization procedures and producing randomization lists.
Requirements- A Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Master's Degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Expertise in database sources (Oncology, Flatiron preferred or other EMR).
- Mandatory proficiency in writing Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs).
- Experience with secondary database studies.
- Good verbal and communication skills.
