About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Breakfast Chef to join our team at Radisson Blu Royal Garden Hotel, Trondheim. As a key member of our kitchen department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable moments for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work one week ON - One week OFF schedule to ensure a healthy work-life balance
  • Support the smooth operation of the kitchen department, ensuring all aspects of the guest dining experience are delivered to the highest standard
  • Proactively improve guest satisfaction and comfort, responding promptly to enquiries and resolving issues efficiently
  • Deliver on plans and objectives, achieving kitchen initiatives and hotel targets
  • Supervise the kitchen team, fostering a culture of growth, development, and performance within the department
  • Ensure costs and inventory are controlled, productivity and performance levels are attained, and the food offering is reviewed and optimized for financial performance
  • Comply with all legislation, ensuring due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered, and documented for internal and external audit
Requirements
  • Experience in a kitchen environment
  • Strong supervisory and managerial skills, with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and a passion for the hospitality industry
  • Ability to find creative solutions and proven problem-solving capabilities
  • Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time, and energy
  • Experience working with IT systems on various platforms
  • Strong communication skills
